D:TOX Twins DJ Profile

D:TOX Twins

After years of playing individually, friends Nathan Hayman & Simon Kaye found themselves double booked at a Cream promotion in the UK. Not wanting to disappoint, they decided to play together, which resulted in a blistering performance leaving the crowd begging for more. After the reaction at this event, Simon & Nathan knew they had discovered a unique talent and decided to always perform as a duo from that day forward.

Naturally the next step was to start producing their own records & being total party animals, they knew a detox would be necessary if they were to achieve their goal, and being continuously referred to as twins on the club circuit due to their apparent ability to read each others minds when performing, the brand name D:TOX TWINS was born.

D:TOX TwinsAfter just 2 years of learning to produce, the guys saw their first record "Monster" signed to none other than Massive Trax, which was home to artists such as Dumonde & Cosmic Gate. The release took clubland by storm and was charted at number 9 in dance musics leading lady "Lisa Lashes" top 20.

With performances at some of the UK's top events such as Cream, Gatecrasher, Koolwaters & Scream along with the chart smasher "Monster" under their belts, it was clearly time to make their name on the international circuit.

The guys were approached by Future Star Agency based in Hong Kong & offered a tour of China. Their first stop was one of Chinas largest superclubs, "YES SUPERCLUB" in Guangzhou. They then flew of to other clubs such as the awesome Color Club in Lanzhou & House Dj Club in Quanzhou before returning to the UK.

D:TOX TwinsInstantly upon return from China, the guys were booked to play a classics set at Gatecrasher on boxing day, and shortley after secured a residency with Syndicate Superclub in Bristol, giving them the opportunity to perform at events like Slinky, Godskitchen & Goodgreef etc.

Their latest single "Spirit Of Asia" which was inspired by their tour, was released on DTX Digital in Jan 08 & flew straight into the top 100 trance download chart. Since then, they have returned to the studio to work on a remix of Ashley Nuttons "Skyscraper" & finish their next release "Frequency" which are both scheduled for release in March 08 on DTX Digital.
